Universitas Brawijaya - UB or Brawijaya University (commonly known as UNIBRAW) is a reputable state university in Malang East Java province. The University was established in 1957 and initially operated as a branch of University of Sawerigading Makassar. Brawijaya University was launched in 1963 and had transformed into a state university. Brawijaya University owned 6 campusses, situated in Ketawanggede Malang, Puncak Dieng Malang, Griyasahanta Malang, Kasembon Malang, Kediri East Java, Jakarta, and Probolinggo East Java. At present, the University host 12 faculties and 2 faculty level study programs, including 4 diploma programs, 69 undergraduate programs (S1), 37 master programs (S2), 17 specialists programs, and 16 doctor programs (S3). As at November 2012, UB supported by 1,852 lecturers and 1,669 educational staff.
