PT Semen Jawa - SJW is a new cement producer in Indonesia. The Company is a part strategic subsidiary company of The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG Group), a reputable business conglomerate from Thailand. SCG has strong reputation in Indonesia for more than 18 years (since 1995). At present, SCG has total of 21 companies in Indonesia, among others PT SCG Readymix Indonesia (Jayamix), PT Semen Lebak, PT Keramika Indonesia Assosiasi Tbk etc. PT Semen Jawa is headquartered in Jakarta and having production facilities in Sukabumi West Java (under construction process and expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2015). The Sukabumi plant will have a production capacity of 1.9 million tonnes per year with total investment of Rp 3.4 trillion (U.S. $ 356 million).
