Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia - Kementrian Keuangan or commonly abbreviated as Kemenkeu is the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (previously known as Departemen Keuangan/Depkeu or Finance Department). The ministry having main duty to manage financial and state assets affairs and assist the President of Indonesia in organizing the state. Kemenkeu is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl Dr. Wahidin No 1 Jakarta. The Ministry has 8 directorate generals (DG), namely DG of Budget, DG of Tax, DG of Financial Balance, DG of Customss and Excise, DG of Treasury, DG of Debt Management, and DGof State Assets Management. In 21 May 2013, the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appointed the head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), M Chatib Basri as the Finance Minister to replacing Agus Martowardojo.
