Total overburden removal was down by 8% from 766.6 million bcm in 2015 to 701.5 million bcm in 2016. Total coal production in 2016 was 109.2 million tons or similar with the previous year.

- D3 all Engineering.
- S1 Geology Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electricity Engineering, All Engineering Education.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 for D3 and 3.00 for S1.
Requirements
- S1 Geology Engineering, Geodesy, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00.

- Roster 8 weeks on site and 2 weeks offsite.
