Head of Dynamic Maintenance

Responsibilities:
  • To Contribute to operational excellence a business improvement program aimed at implanting world class maintenance performance
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient offshore operation of the field maintenance and the technical integrity of the facility
  • To ensure that the maintenance of all equipment and utilities are managed safely and efficiently and with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation and the management system
  • Assist the Onshore Manager in preparation of maintenance budgets
  • Manage development updating and implementation of Operational and Maintenance procedures and work instruction pertaining to the maintenance group
Requirements:
  • 15 years experience in oil and gas or heavy shipping industry or offshore hydrocarbon production industry environment. Including 5 years as a Manager
  • Minimum 10 years experience in the maintenance of associated machinery with hydrocarbon production and offshore production floating facilities in a supervisory/management capacity
  • Inspirational coach and mentor and someone acknowledged by their Dynamic Section as an expert in their

Production Manager

Responsibilities:
  • To manage all Premier Oil’s Indonesia Production Operation and Facilities
  • Full business planning and strategy delivery
  • Provide key production input into Budgets, Strategic Business and Work Plans
  • Provide technical support for the evaluation of new business ventures
  • Provide Production advice to the President and other senior managers in Indonesia, and produce innovative solutions to problem which will ensure that the Company’s priorities are met at all times adding the required value to the organization
Requirements:
  • 10 – 20 years experience in production in the Oil & Gas Industry Previously experience in Indonesia or a foreign environment is mandatory. Including 5 years as a Manager
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Highly developed technical, planning, analytical, communication skills both written and analytical skills
  • Self- starter who can plan and work independently and in detail
  • Team leadership and Training skills are necessary
  • Fluent English both spoken and written
Sr. Drilling Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares cost estimates and engineering work (including drilling programmes) related to concept screening, planning, design and construction of wells drilled by Premier Oil Indonesia
  • Prepares AFE’s and AFE supplements
  • Provides technical support to the tendering and procurement process to ensure that cost effective and adequate materials and services are utilized in the operations whilst all applicable procurement regulations are met
  • Provides day-to-day operations engineering support to the rig(s)
  • During critical/unusual operations provides technical support at the rigsite
  • Assists in the control and co-ordination of emergency situations occurring during operations
  • Updates operational procedures as operations progress or fall outside the original well design
  • Participates in pre- and post-well reviews (involving the onshore and offshore teams), including risk assessments, to identify improvements in performance or HSE
  • Prepares final reports, including End of Well Reports and lessons learned documents Reviews well cost reconciliations
  • Initiates and attends regular meetings with other company disciplines, contractors and regulatory bodies during the planning and operations of drilling, completion and testing related operations
  • Performs non-routine tasks as directed by the Chief drilling Engineer or as opportunity presents, in order to meet Department and Company goals. Ensures that he and other relevant people are kept informed of all major opportunities, developments or problems that will impact on the business
  • Promotes sharing of knowledge between Indonesian PSC’s wherever practicable.
  • Carries out work in other Premier business units or on assignment to other Indonesian PSC’s as requested by Drilling Manager
  • Ensures that all activities conducted comply with the highest ethical standards, all standard Operating Procedures and all Company and government regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years experience in oil and gas drilling operations
  • University degree (Bachelor) in an Engineering Discipline, preferably majoring in Oil and Gas Science or Petroleum Engineering
  • Fluent in English both written & spoken. Very proficient with computers and standard software
  • Hold IWCF or equivalent certificate (Supervisors Level)
Asset Superintendent

Responsibilities:
  • The Anoa Asset Superintendent, together with the Anoa Field HOFO, Facilities Superintendent, and all Jakarta Senior Staff comprise the asset group which is directly responsible for the management of the Anoa Field as a business
  • Co-ordinates daily production and maintenance activities
  • The Anoa Asset Superintendent is a member of the Emergency Response Group, which is responsible for the co-ordination of activities in response to all major incidents
  • Assist in preparation of management of the facilities Safety Case and compliance of facility related activities with regulatory and Premier HSE requirements
  • To assist in the development and implementation of the Facility Management System
  • Coordinate facilities input into the engineering change process and initiate ECRs where appropriate
  • To assist the facilities and support personnel with preparation and implementation of short and medium term facility plans
  • To assist to write and implement the facility Lifecycle Plan and other long-term plans with facilities personnel and Jakarta Production support groups
  • Prepare and co-ordinate reports for management, Joint Venture Partners and in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • In conjunction with the other Jakarta Operations department heads, compile the facility operating and minor capital budgets and monitor expenditure against budget
  • With input from support engineering, issue plant test, trial and sampling programs to monitor and improve performance and report on results and anomalies, and co-ordinate field optimization liaising with the facilities personnel
  • Prepare crude oil/gas calculation in the event of mismanagement or force majeure
  • Manage a disposal program to ensure all waste disposals are conducted in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
  • Assist the HOFO to identify and develop business opportunities relevant to operation of the Anoa Field
  • Act as relief as necessary for the HOFO
Requirements:
  • Have minimum 10 years work experiences in production operation, 2 – 4 years experience in a senior supervisory position in oil and gas industry
  • 8 -10 years experience in the hydrocarbon industry with at least two years experience involving production operations (this is a developmental role).
  • Bachelor degree in chemical, petroleum or other related engineering qualifications.
  • Have a knowledge of project management, maintenance, marine operations, project management, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Fluent English both written and speaking
Sr. Geologist

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts a variety of complex geological studies for exploration and appraisal of prospects (e.g. hydrocarbon maturation, migration and traps) and discovered fields.
  • With technical support from consultants and Exploration Department staff, develops and presents prospects for management approval and to JV partners.
  • Provides geological support and expert advice to guide exploration and appraisal / delineation drilling
  • Carries out basin evaluation studies
  • Plans geological field programs, negotiates with contractors, arranges logistics, and supervises the execution of programs.
  • Plan most economic and effective combination of data gathering / evaluation procedures.
  • Prepares AFE requests, provides input on preparation of technical specifications for contracts, carries out the bidding process for contract award, monitors and controls field expenditures and assists in budget preparation
  • Supervises and assist Service Companies on related G&G project / analyses
  • Supervises, trains and mentors subordinates and national junior exploration G&G staff.
  • Supports, maintains and develops the regional geoscience database.
  • Monitors daily drilling activities, evaluates sample descriptions and wire line logs. Recommends, logging, coring and testing programs.
  • Monitors partners operated exploration ventures. Liases with other technical disciplines, contracts / procurement
  • Ensure that all activities conducted either personally or within a team group comply with HSE requirements, company and government regulations and the highest ethical and professional standards
Requirements:
  • 10 years experience in oil and gas industry
  • Bachelor of Science or preferably Master of Science in Geology or Earth Science
  • Good understanding of geological concepts and applications
  • Good understanding of seismic 3D & 2D interpretation and mapping
  • Advance log analysis / formation evaluation
  • Good understanding on geochemistry and petroleum systems

Commissioning Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Authority for all commissioning procedures and activities
  • Review and acceptance of all systems prior to start of pre-commissioning / commissioning activities
  • Approval of any changes from approved commissioning procedures
  • Acceptance of all system completion dossiers and verification of mechanical completion prior to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up
  • Leads the pre commissioning safety reviews (PCSR) for each system or sub system
  • Ensures that adequate emergency response capability is in place prior to the commencement of commissioning operations
  • Lead the PONSBV onshore integrated commissioning team at the construction site.
  • Oversee the production of all pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures prepared by the Contractor
  • Work as part of an integrated Contractor/Client commissioning team during the run up to Mechanical Acceptance of the platform
  • Lead the integrated EPCI / COMPANY / Vendor commissioning teams during pre-commissioning / commissioning and hand over to the Operations Group
Requirements:
  • 20 years experience in oil and gas construction and or hydrocarbon production environment
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years supervisory / team leader or management experience in hydrocarbon production and gas compression / treatment facilities operation
  • Have experience become of one major project as start up / commissioning lead / manager
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to demonstrate leadership
Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Day to day liaison with the TSSC contractor and the various customer groups requiring the support service.
  • Support the engineering manager in ensuring engineering resource of the right skill set and calibre is available when required to meet the POI business unit objectives and schedule.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including basis of design, scope of work, schedule, cost estimate, execution plan, risk matrix and any other necessary documentation through the life of the project.
  • Champion the Premier Oil PSR process to ensure appropriate and timely application.
  • Liaise with BPMIGAS, JVP and Corporate as directed by the engineering manager in order to obtain necessary project approvals.
  • Arrange and participate in PEER reviews, Approval gate reviews etc as required.
  • Provide safety engineering expertise to engineering projects and coordinate hazop, Hazan and QRA reviews.
  • Prepare monthly report on TSSC performance, budget, progress etc for Engineering manager.
  • Mediate conflicts between TSSC and Premier Oil user groups.
  • Ensure any lessons learned during the execution of the project are recorded and shared with the Company for future projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years engineering experience in the upstream oil and gas industry with proven track record.
  • 3 years in a senior engineering role.
  • Safety engineering/loss prevention experience is highly desirable
  • Contract management experience.
  • Strong Interpersonal and team oriented skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Instrument & Control Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • To ensure and that all C&I faclities are designed, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with Premier Oil, national and International standards or other standards as required and within regulatory requirements including the company’s HSEQ system
  • To participate and contribute to the safe and efficient C&I design for major Greenfield projects through concept sanction and into FEED
  • Provides technical assurance in aspects of Control and Instrumentation, including response to engineering queries in support of the Premier Oil Project Execution team in the execution of major green field development EPCI contracts
  • Provides technical support to ensure maximum value is obtained for Premier Oil investments and that all facilities are designed in line with Premier Oil codes and standards
  • Participates in relevant engineering change reviews, ensuring all change requests are assessed, implemented and closed out in a responsible and professional manner in accordance with corporate change management procedures ensuring asset integrity
  • Contribute to organizational capability by staying abreast of new technology and contributing to the maintenance of standards and specifications
Requirements:
  • Hold Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years in relevant experience
  • Previous engineering experience preferably in the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation and control applications, including field instrumentation, control systems and safety systems.
  • Technical knowledge in the I&E field including: field instrumentation, PLC/DCS, IT communications, process control and power engineering.
  • Able to present new technologies to project and/or operating teams to promote implementation.
  • Ability to work effectively (minimal supervision) in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
Cost Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Day to day monitoring of live project expenditure and reporting on variations
  • Review of Change order or variations to budget and preparation of revised budgets with recommendations to the relevant RE, project manager or engineering manager
  • Support the engineering manager in ensuring engineering estimates are prepared to the appropriate level of accuracy as an investment opportunity matures
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, particularly, cost estimate, execution plan, and any other necessary documentation through the life of a project
  • Preparation of project budget and AFE’s
  • Assist in preparation of Investment Memorandum for specific investment opportunities in the areas of budget, phased expenditure and optimum contract strategy
  • Liaise with BPMIGAS, JVP and Corporate financial groups in support of the engineering manager in order to obtain necessary project approvals
  • Prepare monthly report on specific project spend and forecast for Engineering manager
  • Participate in PEER and project gate reviews as required
  • Development of cost data base relevant to POI operating area for all associated engineering activities, services and materials
  • Participate as requested in Management of Change process to provide cost overview
Requirements:

Field Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • To develop, implement and maintain all production aspect of the field management system
  • To actively participate in the field management team planning process
  • To promote and ensure active safety awareness in the production team
  • To Ensure production systems are operated safety with minimal environmental impact and in compliance with legislation and management system
  • Assist with the development and assessment of production personnel competencies
  • To supervise production and prioritize work in accordance with short and long term plan
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety codes and operating procedures ensuring that these are followed and improved to ensure that the safety of all operations in maintained
  • Assisting in the planning and co ordination of all major activities in conjunction with onshore support and project groups
  • Maintaining the facility integrity, through co ordination of operations inspection and activities

  • Field Maintenance Supervisor
  • Responsibilities:
  • To ensure that the process equipment, power generation, compression and utilities systems are maintained safely, efficiently and with minimal environmental impact in accordance with current legislation, the management system and the life cycle plan
  • To ensure that the maintenance policy is implemented in accordance with the Premier business plan and to contribute to the development of a maintenance plan appropriate to the field facilities
  • To supervise the maintenance workforce, to develop and maintain a flexible and effective work culture where all employees and contractors strive to achieve the pre-set Premier business goals
  • Assist in implementation of the Premier Production Operations Department Management System
  • Maintenance requirements, safe practices and procedure, comply with the Premier Management system whilst meeting all environmental and legislative requirements
Requirements:
  • 10 years offshore experience in the oil and gas industry preferable in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience hydrocarbon process equipment maintenance including solar gas turbine drivers and centrifugal gas compresors
  • Experience in planned maintenance system
  • Fluent English written and speaking
