The British Government’s Department for International Development supports Indonesia to eradicate poverty and achieve the Millennium Development Goals. DFID Indonesia implements a targeted and innovative programme of development assistance including decentralised governance, maternal health, disaster risk reduction, social protection and support to climate change. We work in partnership with Government of Indonesia, a range of multilateral and bilateral donors and civil society organisations.
This post is critical for DFID Indonesia in achieving its objectives. It offers an opportunity to work in a senior position on a dynamic and cutting edge programme, within a highly motivated team and a progressive organisation.
DEPUTY PROGRAMME MANAGER (B1)
Scope of work includes:
- Making sure that DFID funds and programmes fully achieve their results and are effectively managed.
- Direct responsibility for managing programmes addressing climate change, disaster risk reduction and social protection
- Contributing to DFID’s work on communications and broader programme management.
- Management of one staff member

- The salary scale for this post ranges from Rp 14 (minimum) to Rp 29 (maximum) million per month. New entrants will normally start at the minimum of the scale although more may be available for an exceptional candidate.
