Facilities Planner

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reports directly to the Engineering Manager -Maintenance-.
  • Ensures that updated records are maintained for all equipment in the Computerized
  • Maintenance Management System and that equipment is marked accordingly.
  • Ensures that the preventive maintenance tasks and schedules are available for all equipment and that they are updated on a regular basis taking in to consideration revised regulations from Local Authorities, revised Corporate Standards as well as input from Engineering Foremen and Technicians.
  • Plans and issues preventive maintenance work orders to the Engineering Foremen and ensures that completed tasks are entered in to the records.
  • Follows up on pending preventive and corrective work orders with the concerned Supervisors.
  • Ensures that the Building Maintenance System and INNCOM Systems are operating efficiently and advises the team on any short comings / deficiencies and ensure a follow up system.
  • Ensures that the chilled water tracer system is operating efficiently and advises the team on any short comings / deficiencies and ensures a follow up system.
  • Coordinates with the Engineering Store & Engineering Manager to ensure that spares and material is available for the scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinates closely with the Engineering Foremen to ensure that the preventive maintenance program is working with a minimum interference to all occupants of the building.
  • Produces existing reports from CMMS, Building Maintenance System and INNCOM and identifies new reports that further can improve the complete maintenance process of the hotel.
  • Is responsible for the Engineering Documentation Store, containing the operations and spare parts manuals as well as other related files for all equipment and installations in the Hotel.
  • Takes active part in the Energy Conservation Program and monitors daily the operation of the Building Management System.
  • Notifies the Duty Engineer of any irregularities to plant and equipment or abuse of engineering equipment by other Hotel staff.
  • Maintains proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
  • Adheres at all times to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group international Policies & Procedures and Fire Life Health Safety & Security and HACCP Standards.
  • Is conversant with the Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta Hotel Emergency Procedures.
  • Personal presentation will be clean, neat and tidy at all times.
  • Is courteous, professional and service orientated when dealing with Guest and colleagues.
  • Assists Guests and colleagues when appropriate.
  • Carries out all tasks in accordance with The Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta planned Maintenance Program.
  • Ensures that Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Legendary Quality Experience Standards are fully maintained throughout his/her shift and exceed our guests’ expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Building services.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Must possess a warm and pleasant personality and is able to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret diagrams/drawings and be computer literate.
  • Must possess some Fire, Life, Health and Safety certificates.
  • Must possess a good knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) and associated equipment.
  • Must possess certificate of fitness on Fire standpipe, sprinkler systems, FSD (Fire Safety Director) and Fire Alarm interior system.
  • Must possess a good knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft DOS, Office, Windows, Outlook, Access etc.
  • Good written and verbal skills in English and Indonesian.
  • Preferably working knowledge of M&E.
Shift Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
  • Adheres at all times to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group international Policies & Procedures, Fire Life Health Safety & Security and HACCP Standards.
  • To perform Emergency Response Team duties as required.
  • To be courteous, professional and service orientated when dealing with Guest and colleagues.
  • To carry out all tasks in accordance with The Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta planned Maintenance Program.
  • To familiarize him-/herself with the technical details of all Plant and Services relating to the Hotel.
  • To maintain, repair, check and record equipment relating to:
  1. Guest Facilities
  2. Plant Rooms
  3. Air Conditioning Equipment
  4. Refrigeration Equipment
  5. Electrical and Mechanical Services
  6. Plumbing and Heating
  7. Entertainment Equipment
  8. Kitchens
  9. Lighting
  10. Furniture, Fittings and General Equipment
  • To supervise and support actively the Shift Technician.
  • To ensure all log books and records are kept up to date.
  • To assist Engineering colleagues with technical advice and ensure standards are met at all times.
  • To deputize the Engineering Manager and Project Engineer in their absence.
  • To assist actively in Energy Conservation and Control.
  • To ensures that Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Legendary Quality Experience Standards are fully maintained throughout his/her shift and exceed our guests’ expectations.
Requirements

  • Ensures all Electrical work is carried out in accordance with local regulations.

  • Ensures that all plants/equipment are operated properly in accordance to the manufacturer’s specifications and as economically as possible.
  • Receives instructions from the Duty Engineer on job priorities and attends to guest on engineering complaints as so directed by the Duty Engineer.
  • Reports to the Duty Engineer of stock situation in the reserve stock cabinet.
  • Provides assistance to colleagues in other trades as and when requested.
  • Provides engineering/electrical assistance to client representatives who are holding functions in the Hotel’s function room.

Income Auditor

Job Descriptions :
  • Verifies and ensures the accuracy of Front Office, Food and Beverage and other revenue centre activities.
  • Balances on a Daily Basis the cash, direct bill, credit card and other revenue related accounts.
  • Maintains accurate up to date reference documentation regarding all hotel standard rates, group and special rates, packages and promotions offered by the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta.
  • Performs daily audits of banquet checks, event orders, cover counts and guarantees to ensure accuracy and completeness of information and billing.
  • Reviews group room block-pick-up/attrition figures and verification of accuracy and completeness of room charges and complimentary rooms provided.
  • Reviews adjustments, miscellaneous charges & related slips on a daily basis to ensure appropriateness and conformity to established procedure, initiates correction where necessary, reports deviations to management.
  • Submits all allowance vouchers to appropriate management for review and approval.
  • Prepares Daily Revenue Report, with supplemental detail & schedules for management review.
  • Prepares various daily, weekly, and monthly reports on a timely basis to provide management with timely & accurate numbers on which to base decisions.
  • Investigates and corrects errors any discrepancies discovered in the audit process.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of audit completion.
  • Perform regular and random cash count audit for each colleague whom maintain a house bank/cash float.
  • General Cashier in performing his/her day to day cash report / general cashier report, accordingly until the report is ready to be journalised.
  • Recommends procedural changes where necessary to correct deficiencies.
  • Perform daily journal entries generated from system after its review. Any chart of account relate to the journal must be reconciled daily.
  • Assists in the end of month closing activities; prepares and inputs corresponding journal entries accordingly.
  • Ensures adherence to all GAAP, and Mandarin Oriental Jakarta Hotel guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Prepares Sales Tax Reports and its corresponding Tax Filings on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least three years experience in Hospitality Accounting (income/night audit position).
  • Proficiency with all Windows Based software Applications. Springer Miller Systems a plus.
  • Strong level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Effective management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
  • Strong Team Player, enthusiastic to learn and accomplish the Finance Department & Mandarin Oriental Overall Goals.
  • Prioritization skills necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work concentrated and effective under pressure.
  • Possess a friendly, energized and outgoing personality.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Indonesia and English.
