Mobile Game Tester (IND-QA)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

As a member of Gameloft’s major Quality Assurance team, you will participate in the testing process to ensure the quality of our top-rated mobile games. Upon your skills and potential, you will be assigned specific tests; based on relevant requirements and checklists, you will describe and report bugs on bug database.
Working closely with producers and programmers from the beginning to the end of game production cycle, you will have an in-depth vision of video games on a wide range of mobile phones.

Requirements:
  • Strong interest and experience in playing video games;
  • Carefulness, great attention to details;
  • Good skills of English reading and writing;
  • Office computer literacy.
Video Game Producer (IND-PROD)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

Occupying the key position in game production process at Gameloft Indonesian Studio, you will coordinate project teams to develop world-class mobile games for international markets.

Your daily responsibilities consist of:
  • Planning, coordinating and supervising the mobile game development cycle implemented by different teams, from the conception stage to the finalization stage (Game design, Programming, Graphics, Quality assurance…);
  • Actively communicating with Head Quarter Producers as well as development teams in other countries;
  • Constantly controlling the game quality and the project status to make sure that the games are delivered on time and match Gameloft’s high quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience in management position;
  • Good gaming background as well as ability to evaluate video games;
  • Strong analytical skill, very well-organized, problem-solving;
  • Responsible, result-oriented, able to work under high pressure and to handle multiple tasks at the same time;
  • Good leadership and team spirit;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Mobile Game Programmer (IND-PRG)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

As a member of Gameloft’s top-level engineering team in Indonesian Studio, report to Team Leader and Producer, your day-to-day work consists of programming and optimizing codes to create and port video games on a wide range of mobile phones. You will take part in projects involving various Gameloft studios around the world such as US, Europe, etc, and will work closely with project managers and other departments of the studio such as quality assurance, game design, and graphic art to deliver high-quality mobile games for international markets.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Java or C/C++. Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science is preferable;
  • Knowledge of J2ME, BREW, Symbian, iPhone OS or 3D programming is a plus;
  • Knowledge of graphic development (2D&3D). Experience in game programming is a plus;
  • Good reading and writing skills in English;
  • Team spirit, sense of responsibility, deadline commitment;
  • Ability to work under high pressure;
  • Both junior and senior profiles are welcome.
Game Designer (IND- GD)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

As a member of the game design team of Gameloft Indonesian Studio, and under the responsibility of the Lead Game Designer as well as Producer, you will be in charge of the design of top quality mobile games for international markets.

The daily missions include:
  • Study and master original designs of a wide range of game genres;
  • Creatively modify, adapt or produce gameplay contents, concepts, level layouts and designs;
  • Under producer’s coordination, work with artists and programmers to make sure that the creative vision is fulfilled.
Requirements:
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about 2D and 3D video games in a wide variety of genres and on various gaming platforms (Playstation, XBOX, Nintendo, PC…); good understanding of their environments, control systems and general usability rules;
  • Thorough understanding of video games and their commercial appeal to the general public;
  • Good English writing skill, ability to document ideas, concepts, and design systematically and in a style that that is easy to understand;
  • Good skill of Photoshop tools;
  • Good interpersonal skill, good at teamwork;
  • Your organizational skill and result-oriented spirit enable you to deliver high quality works under high pressure and within strict deadlines;

2D Graphic Artist ( IND-Gfx)

As a member of the dynamic team of Pixel Art at Gameloft Indonesian Studio, you will take part in the graphic production for Gameloft’s world-acclaimed mobile games.
Among a given team of producer, game designers, programmers, and testers, your daily mission is to conceive or execute graphic elements and art works for creation or large-scale deployment game projects.

Requirements:
  • Creativity, competency of hand-drawing and sprite design;
  • Proficiency in drawing software (Photoshop...), ability to draw and create animations on a pixel basis (low resolution infography) with Photoshop;
  • Interest and experience in playing video games;
  • Experience in video game or in cartoon/comics would be welcome;
  • Higher education degree in fine arts, applied arts… (applications from self-taught candidates are also accepted);

Local Data Manager (IND-DATA)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

Being a key contact for data management with other studios and world data management team, you will be responsible for:
  • Collecting all the gold sources when every project is completed in Indonesian studio to send to World Data Manager;
  • Collecting all the sources done (or being done) by other studios to provide to local teams upon local producer’s request;
  • Providing the sources done in Indonesia when requested by local producers, World Data Manager and data managers from other studios;
  • Checking the sources collected or exchanged to make sure that those sources (especially the ones from Indonesia studio) respect the checklist: contents, workable, and latest gold version and other conventions set by World Data Management team;
  • Building up, supervising, and improving the process of collecting and managing sources in order to provide right sources (latest version, workable, sufficient…) to the concerned people in fastest and efficient way.
Requirements:
  • Programming knowledge to be able to check the sources would be asset;
  • English good enough to handle all email communications and requests;
  • Well organized and detail-oriented to be able to handle a huge number of source/games/devices;
  • Reliable, supportive, responsive and able to handle tasks with high accuracy;

Hardware Expert (IND-HW)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

Your responsibilities will consist of:
  • Managing the internal park and setting up an effective and adapted solution of management for the supported devices park;
  • Registering and keeping tracks of all devices borrowings for production teams,
  • Ensuring that the borrowers keep, maintain and give back the devices in accordance with the borrowing rules;
  • Keeping devices following HW management rules, ensuring that they are in good condition and available when needed;
  • Proposing effective solutions for hardware management;
  • Executing other HW-related tasks upon HW Manager's request.
  • Buying all necessary materials - devices and accessories for the studio with approval from Studio Manager
  • Giving an effective support (not assistantship!) to the local teams (GPRS/WAP setting , technological phone issue)

Office Administrator (IND-OA)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

Under Studio Manager and HR Manager, you will be a person in charge of all administrative, facilities, logistic issues.

Your daily works are as below:
  • Ensure smooth administrative support for the office, including but not limited to:
  • Air-conditioning, electricity, telephone, drinks, food, office furniture and stationery, mailing, staff cards, parking for staff vehicles, transportation, traveling etc.;
  • Deal with suppliers in order to provide the afore-mentioned administrative support; and follow up office expenses;
  • Manage access doors, make access reports, and take care of all office keys;
  • Arrange travel, company meetings, visa applications;
  • Organize office maintenance and repair work;
  • Take care of accommodation for expatriates;
  • Take charge of all reception functions (operating phone calls, welcoming visitors, receiving and delivering letters/newspapers/magazines…);

Requirements:

  • Very good at English and Indonesian, French skills is a plus.

IT Support Technicians (IND-IT)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

Gameloft is looking for an experienced, dynamic, autonomous, and highly motivated computer support technician to provide support to the rapidly expanding Indonesia Studio office.

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Level 1 support, providing hardware and software support on employee systems (troubleshooting email, network, and peripheral equipment problems, for example);
  • OS and application installations, upgrades, and maintenance, following standards defined by the GNS (Global Network Services) Team and Gameloft Management;
  • Hardware installation and deployment, including PC, printer, telephone and fax installations;
  • Task automation of the above mentioned points wherever possible;
  • Documentation and end-user FAQ preparation;
  • Manage IT equipment inventory.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing, maintaining, and debugging a large installed base of PC computers (mainly MS Windows XP) in an networked environment;
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting;
  • Experience and strong knowledge with MS Operating Systems (especially XP), Office applications, common network services and protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMB, etc.); - Experience with enterprise class software deployment and inventory solutions is definitely an asset;
  • Experience with enterprise class antivirus solutions is definitely an asset;
  • Experiencing with Ghost, Sysrep, WinPE, and other similar tools is definitely an asset;
  • Good knowledge of Linux;
  • Customer-oriented and service minded;

Human Resources Manager (IND-HRM.)
Indonesia - Yogyakarta

Being a Human Resources Manager, you will be in charge of all HR functions at Gameloft studio in Indonesia.

Your responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and training:
  • Carrying out and coordinating recruitment activities to sustain development of activities in Yogyakarta studio; taking part in recruitment and selection process; proposing ideas to improve recruitment and reach targets;
  • Maintaining and developing good relationship with academics, institutions, and partners;
  • Conducting orientation program for new comers and developing training programs as well as proposing measures related to training process, in collaboration with related departments.
Compensation and benefits:
  • Implementing compensation and benefits policy, including insurances and different allowances for the staff;
  • Administering all staff dossiers (offer letter, contract, discipline, annual leave, promotion, re-allocation, exit procedure…), and ensuring that they are accurate, well prepared and followed up.
  • Advising Studio manager and taking initiatives in set-up/implementation of studio policies, regulations, organization, process,… in accordance with the local Labor code ; taking care of the compliance of all staff with studio regulations.
  • Advising and managing on a diverse range of strategic and operational issues which will include redundancy, complex disciplinary and grievance issues, employee tribunals and complex change management issues. This role will give you significant exposure to dealing with contracts of employment, company handbooks and changes in legislation.
  • Keeping good relation with employees, taking care of their morale and motivation; proposing activities for their sake.
  • Supervising Administration team to make sure all office operations run smoothly; office administration will include – but not be limited to: paperwork, safety, security, access door system, office equipment…
  • Reporting to Studio Manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related area such as Business Administration…;
  • At least 3 years of experience at HR management level, ideally in IT/video game areas;
  • Strong knowledge of labour code and HR best practices;
  • Having strong experience in recruitment is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of IT network (universities, jobs…) is welcome;
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Problem-solving, very well-organized and responsible person;
  • Ability to work under high pressure;
  • Fluent English (both writing and speaking), and excellent Bahasa Indonesian.
