Tax Analyst - Jakarta
Job Description
- Prepare and submit montly tax payment and report withholding tax and VAT.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and Oil & Gas regulations.
- Assisting Team Lead in handling tax controversy and litigation matters.
- Assisting Team Lead in providing tax advices to Company's affiliates in Indonesia.
- Review and submit information for tax audits or other external party's requests.
- Conduct reserach on various tax issues and assist in selecting tax planning opportunities.
- Support Team Lead on any tax advisory services for all ExxonMobil affiliates in Indonesia.
- Support Team Lead to liaise with Tax Office and any other Government institution.
- Ensure implementation of safety procedure in the working environment.
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or Fiscal.
- Minimum 5 (five) years working experience in related area.
- Strong and deep knowledge of Indonesia Tax Law and Compliance.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills and result oriented.
- Holding Brevet A and B certificates would be preferable.
- Experience with SAP application, would be preferable.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work in a team.
- Able to work successfully in a changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
Job Description

- Ensure compliance with all relevant Oil and Gas regulations (monthly C&D tax, etc).
- Coordinate the team in handling tax controversy and litigation matters.
- Coordinate the team in providing tax advices to all ExxonMobil affiliates in Indonesia.
- Review and submit information for tax audit or other external party's requests.
- Conduct research on various tax issues and assist in selecting tax planning opportunities.
- Conduct monthly calculation and payment of C&D Tax.
- Review monthly tax payment and return on VAT.
- Review annual Corporate income tax return.
- Review tax accounting reconciliations.
- Ensure implementation of safety procedure in the working environment.
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or Fiscal.
- Minimum 8 (eight) years working experience in related area.
- Strong and deep knowledge of Indonesia Tax Law and Compliance.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills and result oriented.
- Able to lead a team and willing to be an effective team player.
- Holding Brevet A and B certificates, would be preferable.
- Experience with SAP application, would be preferable.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work successfully in a changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
