Import Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist Airfreight Manager in compiling monthly & weekly reports.
- Supervise job duties of Import supervisors & operation assistants & ensure operational excellence.
- Responsible for filing latest customer SOP and rates.
- Coordinate with CDZ Manager to ensure freight, cleared and delivered in agreed time frame.
- Checking for the correctness of all incoming invoices (overseas & local suppliers).
- Overcome and report the discrepancies to origin office.
- Responsible for tracking all triangle business.
- Responsible for receiving pre-alert, shipping documentation and inquiry from overseas units.
- Maintains communication with consignee, carriers and overseas partner
- Responsible for checking cost details in overseas invoice to be billed to customers / consignees
- Responsible for final control on job files.
- Responsible to update KPI report in coordination with PM.
- Responsible to solve the shipment/cargo problems (eq. pilferage, damage).
- Follow up and monitor claim process within import dept. in cooperation with SU
- Informs superior and relevant functional unit continuously and in good terms of occurrences within his/ her area of responsibility
- Male/Female, age between 30-40years old
- Minimum S1 in any discipline
- Good command in English (Oral and writing)
- Management skills
- High result orientation
- Computer Literate
- Having 3 years experiences in the same position or 5 years experiences in related field from Forwarding Company
- Good Communication & Interpersonal Skill
- Proactive - self starter person
- Independent and self motivated, cross culture experience, outgoing, open personality and proactive

- Plan, organize and direct an efficient and effective function.
- Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

- Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff.
- Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
