ExxonMobil operates the Arun Field in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province as a Cooperation Contract Contractor (KKKS) to the Indonesian Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (BPMIGAS). ExxonMobil affiliates also operate the South Lhoksukon A and D, as well as the North Sumatra Offshore gas field and hold a 100 percent participating interest in the above mentioned fields.

Mobil Cepu Ltd. (MCL), Ampolex (Cepu) PTE. LTD., PT Pertamina EP Cepu and four local government companies, namely PT Sarana Patra Hulu Cepu (Central Java), PT Asri Dharma Sejahtera (Bojonegoro), PT Blora Patragas Hulu (Blora) and PT Petro Gas Jatim Utama Cendana (East Java), have jointly taken part as the Contractor under the Cepu Cooperation Contract which will run until 2035. ExxonMobil holds 45 percent of the total Participating Interest in the Cepu Block.

During the period of 2006 - 2009, the Government of Indonesia awarded the Gunting Block in East Java, the Surumana and Mandar Block in the deep waters of Makassar Strait, and the Cendrawasih Block in the Papua Province, to ExxonMobil.

Corporate Lawyer
An energetic, commercially astute lawyers requited loran exciting position, which will involve abroad range of work across all of ExxonMobil upstream oil and gas interests and emerging opportunities in Indonesia. In supporting these Interests, the roles include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and related documents concerning exploration, development and production operations and providing legal advice with respect to various aspects of those operations. Over this broad range of legal work, may include drafting and negotiating production sharing contracts, joint operating, unitization, farm-in and gas sales agreements, as well as providing litigation and compliance support

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years relevant experience and currently provide quality business law advice in a major law firm or in-house legal department,

While specific experience in providing legal support for upstream dl end gas operations will be well regarded, it is not essential, as training wit be provided.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in Indonesian and English are a requirement, Strong relationship biking skis, self-confidence, initiative and a strategic, pragmatic approach are essential.
