Technical Solutions Manager for BASIS.
This position provides thought leadership for the management of a business system platform, with the focus on architecture & integration, technology research & development, solutions development, quality assurance & change management, and system performance & capacity management.

Technical Solutions Manager for BASIS.
This position provides thought leadership for the management of a business system platform, with the focus on architecture & integration, technology research & development, solutions development, quality assurance & change management, and system performance & capacity management.
This role will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into innovative technology solutions and the application of core design principles while managing to deliver successful project outcomes.
Accountabilities

- Develop short to medium term planning for application solutions architecture, integration and technology exploitation focusing on portfolio responsibilities, and assist the Technical Solutions Group Manager in developing longer term strategic planning.
- In delivering organization business plan, collaborate with other functions in IT to translate the business requirements into technical design, inline with the overall architecture, and of close if not seamless integration with the existing solutions, within portfolio of responsibilities.
- Work closely with external development vendors for outsourcing technical works, from conveying business requirements to delivering solutions, all while ensuring their meeting the company policy, standards and procedures, and reviewing their performance in meeting the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for further strategic partnership.
- Oversee the group of Technical Solutions Specialists within portfolio responsibilities; provide leadership and guidance in coordinating and monitoring the technical and development works according to business priority, and ensuring that the activities are on schedule otherwise adequately resolved.
- Formulate solution research and development activities, may coordinate research activities with other functions in IT in line with company’s strategy, business requirements, and direction from Technical Solutions Group Manager.
- Team with other functions in IT to establish and apply Quality Assurance procedures and ensure solutions are delivered of high quality.
- Establish and deploy change procedures of solutions in the particular platform. Responsible to ensure that all solutions in the platform follow the proper Change Management processes from Development, to Pilot, to UAT, and eventually to Production.
- Analyze, recommend and develop procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in business application solutions support, development and upgrades through the exploitation of technology and new applications.
- Coordinate the on-going support of implemented business application solutions and ensure the technical procedure in place to improve performance and prevent problems from re-occurring.
Experience and Qualifications
- The candidate should have minimum 'S1' degree from a reputable university, prefer majoring in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- To be a successful candidate for this position, 4 years experience of AS/400 Programming languages (RPG ILE, CL ILE, and Service Program) would be a minimal acceptable qualification.
- Experience in development, maintenance and support of standard business applications.
- Good communication skill both verbal and written in English.
- Demonstrating a good common sense in understanding of relevant business issue related to scope of applications.
- Posses a rich programming/development background.
- Excellent work management skills in establishing a course of action to accomplish specific goals, planning proper schedule, taking action to monitor processes, tasks or activities, and keeping track of delegated tasks and assignments.
- Able to maintain stable performance under pressure
Technical Solutions Specialist – iSeries
This role provides the architecture design, develop of solutions, translate the Business requirement coming from Business Solutions Group into system design; explain, guide the outsource developers of application design logics, and continuously monitor the development works to achieve the schedule development time in well quality of solutions, in BASIS portfolio. This role is also supporting the Solutions problem in and outside working hours in the case of Application Support Service Team could not resolved the issues (act as third level support).

- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions for business applications in various standard platforms using various standard development tools according to designed specifications and CCA Indonesia development standards.
- Follow change management disciplines during all application life cycles.
- Establish, complete and maintain technical documentations of system parameters, program and database specification required to run the implemented business application system. Review of all existing local technical documentation should be performed every 6 months.
- Test, install, and maintain new programs/object and ensure they are of high quality standards in term of architecture design, performance and system security as the critical components.
- Perform upgrade and fixes to implemented application system and where applicable, their distribution.
- Provide documentations of new application/system or changes for Support Service Team to be implemented in Production environment.
- Provide support, analysis and problem resolution related to applications, program, and database that have been escalated to the group. Establish procedure to prevent problems from re-occurring.
- Provide after hour support.
- Work with and provide supervision to external business partner in providing the suitable and reliable solutions in supporting the business requirements.
- Proactively search for new technology ideas and express those (plans or solutions) clearly and effectively through both oral and written communication to peers and line manager within CCA Indonesia.
- Continually maintain and improve competence and knowledge for the assigned application(s); keeping abreast of current development and trends in assigned areas of expertise.
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with other related section/unit within CCA Indonesia to ensure positive collaboration and productive teamwork exist.
Experience and Qualifications

- To be a successful candidate for this position, 2 to 3 years experience of AS/400 Programming, iSeries Programming, RPG, RPGLE, CL and CLLE, RPG Developer/Programmer, RPG Consultant would be a minimal acceptable qualification.
