PT HPM establised since 1977 and was subsidiary of Honda Motor Co ltd (Share composition : 51% Honda Motor Co, Ltd, 49 % PT Prospect Motor). Its factory, 51 Ha plant area located in Kawasan Industri Mitrakarawang, Karawang with production capacity 40,000 units/year for body plant and 160,000 units/year for engine plant. As of March 2011, number of Employee PT HPM are 3195. PT HPM export its products to Thailand, India, Philippine, Malaysia, Pakistan, Taiwan & China.
