PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM) is one of subsidiary of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) engaged in gold mining and exploration. NHM operating a COW on Halmahera Island, North Maluku. NHM is a joint venture between Singapore Holding Pte, Ltd (NEWCREST) 82.5% and PT. Aneka Tambang (Persero) 17.5%. Contract of Work between Goverment of Indonesia and PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals was signed on 28 April 1997. The agreement was based on Predential Decree No. B 143/Pres/3/1997 dated 17 March 1997. The original Contract of Work area was 1.672.967ha. After 3 (three) relingquishment stages, current Contract of Work area is 29.622ha. PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals Gosowong Gold Mine was an open put mine situated beside the Tabobo River, Halmahera Utara, Maluku Utara Province, encompassing a construction area 1.608ha. During 1999-2002, Gosowong gold mine produced 770,000 ounces of gold but has now closed.
The Company is seeking 4 (four) Fresh Graduates from all universities in Indonesia, focusing on:
Environmental Science (ES)
Geology (Geo)
Mining Engineer (ME)
Metallurgy (Met)
Requirements:
Min GPA 3.00 out of 4.00
Preference shall be given to 2010 or 2011 graduates
Successfully passed the qualification test
English proficiency and computer literate is a must
