RSUD Dr Soetomo Surabaya is an Indonesian government-owned general hospital center located in Surabaya, East Java. The Hospital based in Surabaya and owned by the Government of East Java Province. The Hospital founded in 1893 by The Dutch government under the name of  RS Central Buggerlijk Ziekenhuis (CBZ) and in 1964 based on SK. Ministry of Health - Republic Indonesia dated 20 May 1964 No. 26769/KAB/76, the Hospital changed its name into RS Dr Soetomo. The Hospital supported by 4,983 employees, consist of 61 General Practitioners, 258 Specialists, 28 Dentists, 10 Specialist Dentist, 1,204 Nurses & Midwives, 51 Pharmacists, 54 Bachelor of Public Health, 44 Nutritionists, 1,421 PPDS I, and 1,851 Other employees. In 2010, RSUD Dr Soetomo awarded ISO 9001:2008 in hospital management system.
