The World Bank is one of the world International Financial institution. World Bank provided loans to developing countries for capital programmes. The Institution establised since 1944 based on Bretton Woods Conference. Its head office located in Washington DC, United States. The World Bank owned by 187 member countries and comprised on two Institution: the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). The IBRD focused to reduce poverty in middle-income and creditworthy poorer countries, while IDA aimed on the world's poorest countries. Their work is complemented by that of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) and the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).

Operations Officer for Papua
General Requirements:
- Master Degree (S2) in sociology, political science, economics, anthropology, or a related discipline
Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in Indonesia, preferably with project management experience
Previous work experience in Papua/West Papua highly desirable; - Knowledge of/experience with World Bank policies, procedures, and operational activities desirable;
- Strong organizational capacity and demonstrated leadership skills, proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams;
- Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships, internally and externally;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and tactfully to a variety of audiences;
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
- Willingness to travel frequently to rural and extremely remote areas of Papua.
