The Company established since 1971 with the name of PT Federal Motor and in 2000 renamed with PT Astra Honda Motor. PT AHM is a joint venture company between PT Astra International Tbk and Honda Motor Company Ltd. The Company based in Jakarta and operated by 3 manufacturing plants with production capacity of 4.3 million units of motorcycles per year. In 2011, the Company succeeded in producing 4,254,012 units of Honda Motorcycles. As of February 2012, PT AHM supported by 18,976 human resources.
