Pertamina also invests heavily in the development of geothermal energy as an alternative energy source.

Requirements
- Minimum GPA 2.75 of scale 4.00
- Posses S1 degree in Physics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geophysical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering
- Maximum age 27 years old in 2012
- Fluent in English has a certificate with a minimum score of 450 (for paper based TOEFL) or a minimum of 45 (for the internet based TOEFL) or a minimum of 5.5 (for IELTS) or a minimum of 500 (for TOEIC). For this requirement can be following after the psychological moment.
- Willing to be placed in all areas of PT Pertamina (Persero).
