Universitas Diponegoro - Undip or Diponegoro University is a prominent state university in Indonesia. The University located in Semarang, the Capital city of Central Java. The University was established in 1957 as a private university under the name of University of Semarang. In 1960 its status and name changed intu state university under the name Diponegoro University. The University operated 11 faculties and also provided vocational program (Diploma III and Diploma IV). Universitas Diponegoro now operated 43 undergraduate programs, 28 master programs, and 9 different doctoral programs. In 2011, the University ranked 601+ in world calss university ranking. In 2012, Universitas Diponegoro has been Ranked Two Stars at 2012 of QS Stars World Class University Ranking.
