PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) - Pelindo 2 or known as Indonesia Port Corporation (IPC) is a leading state-owned transportation company in Indonesia that deals with the management and operation of public port. The Company was founded in 1960 and operated in 3 main business, namely Ship services, Cargo services, and other related services. IPC's head office situated in Jakarta with operational areas distributed in 10 provinces and managing 12 comercialized ports, including Teluk Bayur Port, Jambi Port, Boom Baru Palembang, Bengkulu Port, Panjang Port, Tanjung Pandan Port, Pangkal Balam Port, Banten Port, Tanjung Priok Port, Sunda Kelapa Port, Cirebon Port and Pontianak Port. Based on PT Pelindo 2 (Persero) Annual Report 2011, the Company recorded net income of Rp1.48 trillion for the end of 2011, which represented an increase of 17.68% over net income of Rp1.26 trillion in 2010.
