In upstream business, the Company acting as a manufacturer and distributor of seeds and fertilizers, cultivation management services and harvest handling services. In downstream business, the company engaged in post-harvest handling, warehousing, trading and also rice mill. Pertani had 7 area marketing offices and supported by 35 branches nationwide. In 2012, Pertani reported total agricultural seed production of 32,300 tonnes for the end of 2012, include 30,000 tonnes of rice seed, 2,000 tonnes of corn seed, and 300 tonnes of soybean seed.
