PT Astra Honda Motor - PT AHM is a largest automotive company in Indonesia engaged in sole agent (ATPM), manufacturing, assembling and distributor of Honda Motorcycle. The Company is located in Jakarta and having plants location in Sunter, Pegangsaan, Cikarang, Pulogadung with installed production capacity of 4.3 million units per year. The Company was established in 1971 and operates as a joint venture company between PT Astra International Tbk with Honda Motor Company Ltd. The Company previously known as PT Federal Motor. PT Astra Honda Motor was launched in 2000. Based on AHM Report 2012, the Company has also shown encouraging achievements marked by controls 57.9% of national motorcycle market shares. AHM recorded total Honda sales of 4,088,888 units for the year ending December of 2012.
