PT Honda Prospect Motor - HPM is a reputable atutomotive company in Indonesia with rapid business expansion. PT Honda Prospect Motor is a sole agent and assembler of of Honda automobiles & component. The Company is a joint venture company between Honda Motor Co Ltd (with 51% shares) and PT Prospect Motor (owned 49% shares), which was founded in 1977. The Company is based in Sunter North Jakarta and supported by its production facility in Kawasan Industri Mitrakarawang (KIM) Karawang West Java. The Company's plant in Kawawang have 512.500 m2 factory area with installed production capacity of 60,000 units per year. PT Honda Prospect Motor also supported by 5 affiliates, namely PT Toyo Denso Indonesia, PT Mitsuba Indonesia, PT Indonesia NS, PT Honda Lock Indonesia, and PT Indonesia Stanley Electric. In June 2012, the Company inaugurated the construction of the 2nd Honda Factory and expected to be completed in the mid of 2013.
