Bank Indonesia - BI is the central bank of Indonesia. Bank Indonesia was formed in 1 July 1953 as a nationalization results of De Javasche Bank or Bank of Java, a Dutch bank dating from colonial times. BI has a single objective to achieve and to maintain the stability of the Rupiah. Bank Indonesia main tasks comprises of 3 (three) major fields, consist of Monetary, Payment System, and Banking. Bank Indonesia is based in Jakarta and its head quarter office is situated in Jl MH Thamrin 2 Jakarta. Bank Indonesia operates 37 branches in major cities across Indonesia and also supported by 4 overseas representative offices located in Singapore, Tokyo, London, and New York. Since May 2013, Bank Indonesia was lead by Agus Martowardjojo as a Governor of Bank Indonesia, replacing Darmin Nasution.

Requirements

• Indonesian Citizen (WNI)
• Minimum S1 with GPA of at least 3:00 (on a 4.00 scale), majoring in
1. Economics of Development Studies
2. Accounting
3. Management (Finance and HR)
4. Law
5. Administration (Commerce / Business)
6. Socioeconomic Agriculture / Agribusiness
7. Industrial Engineering
8. MIPA Statistics
9. MIPA Mathematics
• Maximum age as of July 26, 2013:
• 26 years for S1
• 28 years for S2
• Proficiency in English
• Willing to undergo a bond and release bond from other institutions
• Willing to not pregnant during the study
• Does not have a sibling / husband / wife who works in Bank Indonesia
• Willing to be placed in all offices of Bank Indonesia
