Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme - BNPT or the National Agency for Combating Terrorism is a non-ministerial government agencies in Indonesia, which has the task of carrying out government duties in the field of counter-terrorism. The Agency was founded in 2010 based on the Presidential Decree No. 46 of 2010. BNPT headed by a chief who reports to the President of Republic of Indonesia through the coordination of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security. Currently, the Chief of BNPT is held by Ansyaad Mbai. In performing his tasks, Chief of BNPT is assisted 1 Main Secretariat, 1 inspectorate, and 3 Deputies. The Agency is based in Jakarta and headquartered in Jl Imam Bonjol No 53 - 55 Menteng Jakarta.
