Institut Pertanian Bogor - IPB or Bogor Agricultural University is a reputable state agricultural university in Indonesia, situated in Bogor West Java. The University was part of University of Indonesia before secede in 1963. IPB owned 5 campuses with a total area of 299.6 hectares, namely Darmaga Campus as the Rectorate office, Baranangsiang Campus, Gunung Gede Campus, Cilibende Campus, and Taman Kencana Campus. Bogor Agricultural University supported by 9 faculties providing courses at the undergraduate, graduate and diploma levels. IPB was lead by a Rector and since 2008 held by Herry Suhardiyanto, replacing Ahmad Ansori Mattjik (Rector of IPB 2002-2007). He was selected as the 13th Rector of IPB for the period of 2008-now.
