Komisi Pemilihan Umum - KPU or The General Elections Commission of Republic Indonesia is a state institutions that hold elections in Indonesia, both parliamentary and presidential elections in Indonesia. Elections in Indonesia held once in five years and have taken place since 1955. The General Elections Commission is based in Jakarta and headquartered in Jl Imam Bonjol No 29 Jakarta 10310. KPU supported by 33 KPU Province in all over Indonesia. KPU administratively assisted by a Secretariat General KPU, and 7 (seven) Bureau. KPU has 7 members (including 1 chief) and inaugurated by the President of Republic Indonesia. KPU's members for period 2012 - 2017 are Ida Budhiati, Sigit Pamungkas, Arief Budiman, Husni Kamil Manik, Ferry Kurnia Rizkiyansyah, Hadar Nafis Gumay, and Juri Ardiantoro. Since April 2012, the Chief of KPU is Husni Kamil Manik.
