Kota Mojokerto - Mojokerto or the City of Mojokerto is a city of East Java, situated 40 km southwest of Surabaya. The City of Mojokerto is part of "Gerbangkertosusila", the urban planning region surrounding Surabaya. The City of Mojokerto is recognized as the smallest city in East Java with an area of 16,46 km². The City is administratively divided into 2 districs (Magersari, and Prajurit Kulon), and 18 urban villages. The City of Mojokerto is surrounded by Mojokerto regency. According to Statistics Indonesia (BPS) 2010 Cencus, the population of the city of Mojokerto in the year 2010 was 120,196 people. The City of Mojokerto is headed by a Mayor and currently held by Abdul Gani Soehartono.
