Badan Tenaga Nuklir Nasional - BATAN or the National Nuclear Energy Agency of Indonesia is a non-ministrial government agency in Indonesia to carry out basic tasks of government functions in research, development and utilization of nuclear energy. BATAN is under and responsible to the President of Republic Indonesia. The Agency is based in Jakarta and headquartered in Jl Kuningan Barat, Mampang Prapatan Jakarta, 12710. BATAN supported by 4 nuclear facilities, namely Serpong Nuclear Facility, Pasar Jumat Nuclear Facility, Yogyakarta Nuclear Facility, and Bandung Nuclear Facility. Since 2012, the Head of BATAN is Djarot Sulistio Wisnubroto. He is assisted by 4 deputies.
