Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir - BAPETEN or the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency of Indonesia a non-ministerial government agencies in Indonesia, which has the task of implementing the surveillance of all activities of the use of nuclear energy in Indonesia. The Agency is under and responsible to the President of Republic of Indonesia. The Agency was formed in 1998 and began actively working on 1999. The Agency is based in Jakarta and headquartered in Jl Gajah Mada No. 8, Jakarta 10120. The organizational structure of BAPETEN comprise of Head, Main Secretariat, Inspectorate, and Deputy. Currently, Head of BAPETEN is As Natio Lasman. The Head of BAPETEN is assisted by 2 deputy, namely Deputy of Licensing and Inspections, and Deputy of Nuclear Safety Assessment.
