Universitas Negeri Surabaya - UNESA or the State University of Surabaya is a reputable educational state university in Indonesia, situated in Surabaya, the Capital City of East Java Province. The University was officially established in 1964 under the name of Surabaya Institute of Teaching and Education Sciences (Indonesian : Institut Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Surabaya - IKIP Surabaya). The University initially owned 5 faculties, namely Education (FIP), Social Teaching (FKIS), Exact Science Teaching (FKIE), Language Art Teaching (FKSS), and Engineering Sciences Teaching (FKIT). At present, the State University of Surabaya hosts 7 faculties and provides 62 study programs ranging from diploma program, undergraduate program, magister program to doctorate program. UNESA owned 2 campuses, namely Ketintang Campus and Lidah Wetan Campus.
