Universitas Brawijaya - UB (commonly known as Unibraw) or Brawijaya University is one of the largest state university in East Java province and located in Malang. The University initially operated as a branch of University of Sawerigading Makassar, which was founded in 1957. In 1963, the University had transformed into a state university under the name of Brawijaya University. The University owned 6 campusses, situated in Ketawanggede Malang, Puncak Dieng Malang, Griyasahanta Malang, Kasembon Malang, Kedir, Jakarta, and Probolinggo. At present, Brawijaya University host 12 faculties and 2 faculty level study programs, including 4 diploma programs, 69 undergraduate programs, 17 specialists program, 37 master program, and 16 doctor programs. As of November 2012, UB supported by 1,852 lecturers and 1,669 staff.
