Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya - PENS or Electronics Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya (EEPIS) is reputable public polytechnic in Surabaya East Java with focuses in electro field. The Polytechnic is owned by the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Education and Culture. PENS was established in 1988 and formerly known as Politeknik Elektronika & Telekomunikasi (PET). In 1996, the polytechnic was renamed Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya. At present, PENS runs 1 D1 program, 6 D3 programs, 11 D4 programs, and 2 S2 programs in 5 departements, namely Electro Engineering, Informatics and Computer Engineering, Mechanic and Energy Engineering, Creative Multimedia Engineering, and Department of Distance Education Programs.
