Politeknik Negeri Semarang - POLINES or Semarang State Polytechnic is reputable public polytechnic in Indonesia owned by the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Education and Culture. POLINES is based in Semarang, the capital city of Central Java. The Polytechnic was established in 1982 as Politeknik Universitas Diponegoro (Politeknik Undip) and operated under Diponegoro University. POLINES initially owned 3 departements, consist of Electro Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Politeknik Negeri Semarang was launched in 1997 and become a state polytechnic. At present, Semarang State Polytechnic hosts 5 departements in D3 programs and 2 departements in D4 Programs.
