PT Freeport Indonesia - PTFI or Freeport Indonesia is a world class copper and gold mining company from Indonesia. PT Freeport Indonesia is an affiliate company of US Firm Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX). In Indonesia, Freeport commenced its exploration activities in 1967. At present, Freeport Indonesia has conducted its exploration activities in 2 areas in Tembaga Pura Mimika District Papua Province, include Erstberg mine (since 1967) and the Grasberg mine (since 1988). The Grasberg minerals district is recognized as the largest cooper and gold mine in the world in terms of recoverable reserves. As at December 2012, PTFI supported by 11,700 directly employees and 12,400 contractor staff. Currently Freeport Indonesia apply two mining techniques, namely open-pit techniques and the ambrukan techniques or block-caving in underground mines Deep Ore Zone (DOZ).

General Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Master's Degree (S1/S2) from reputable university Majoring in Mining Engineering, Geology Engineerinig, Civil Engineering, Civil Geotech Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical / Instrument / Physics Engineering, Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering, Safety / Environmental,  / Information Technology, Accounting, Management, and Social-Political Science
• Min GPA of 2.80
• Maximum of 2 years of graduation
