PT Astra Honda Motor - PT AHM or Astra Honda Motor is Jakarta based automotive company with more than 42 years of experience in providing Honda motorcyles in Indonesia. PT Astra Honda Motor was formerly known as Federal, which was founded in 1971. The name Astra Honda Motor was established in 2001 as a merger results of PT Federal Motor with its subsidiaries.PT Astra Honda Motor is joint venture company between Indonesian diversified conglomerate PT Astra International Tbk and Japanese Automotive Company Honda Motor Company Ltd, respectively with share ownership of 50% and 50%. PT AHM is based in Jakarta and has 3 production plants and installed production capacity of 4.2 million units per year. According to AHM's news release on 11 November 2013 as cited by JobsCDC.com, AHM sold 3,934,377 units of  Honda motorcycle in the first 10 months of the year, which was a 27.5% percent rises year-on-year.
