PT Freeport Indonesia - PTFI or more popularly called Freeport is the Indonesia's largest copper and gold miner. PT Freeport Indonesia is a subsidiary of US-based Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold, Inc (FCX). First Contract of Work started since 1967, the exploration is located in highland areas Mimika Papua Province, including Erstberg mine (since 1967) and Grasberg mine (since 1988). The Grasberg minerals district is recognized as the worlds largest cooper and gold mine in terms of recoverable reserves. As at December 2012, PTFI has approximately by 11,700 directly employees and 12,400 contractor staff. Currently Freeport Indonesia apply two mining techniques, namely open-pit techniques and the ambrukan techniques or block-caving in underground mines Deep Ore Zone (DOZ).

Due to strengthen its team, PT Freeport Indonesia now is seeking the candidates who are interested to learn and gaining hands-on experience in mining industry

Requirements

• University Graduates (S1/S2), graduation on last 2 years
• GPA minimum 2.8
• Major: Mining Engineering, Geology Engineerinig, Civil Geotech Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Instrument / Physics Engineering, Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering, Safety / Environmental, Information Technology, Accounting, Management, Social-Political Science.
