BP Indonesia is a subsidiary company of oil and gas giant BP Plc (BP Group). In Indonesia, BP is based in Jakarta and has stong reputation for more than 45 years. BP Indonesia running business in upstream, downstream, and petrochemicals. For upstream, Tangguh LNG plant in the Papua Barat province is the main operation of BP in Indonesia. In upstream, the Company operates the Sanga-Sanga PSC in East Kalimantan through Vico Indonesia (joint venture with ENI). In its downstream business, BP Indonesia operates PT Castrol Indonesia to produces and markets a variety of lubricant oil for industries and automotive. In petrochemical business, BP Indonesia has PT Amoco-Mitsui PTA Indonesia (a joint venture with Mitsui Japan) produces 530,000 tons of Purified Terephtalic Acid (PTA) per year.
