Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi  - BPPT or the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology of Republic of Indonesia is a non-ministrial government agency in Indonesia engaged in the field of assessment and application of technology. BPPT is under the coordination of the Ministry of Research and Technology of Republic Indonesia and directly responsible to the President of Republic of Indonesia. BPPT was first established 1974 as Divisi Teknologi dan Teknologi Penerbangan (ATTP) Pertamina or Technology Division and Flight Technology Pertamina. The name of Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi was launched in 1978. BPPT is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl MH Thamrin 8, Jakarta 10340. Since 2008, BPPT was lead by Marzan Aziz Iskandar as the Chairman. He is replacing Said Djauharsjah Jenie.
