Kementerian Negara Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional - Kementerian PPN or the Ministry of National Development Planning is the ministry in the Indonesian Cabinet with main duties to formulate the national development planning. The Ministry operates Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional or commonly abbreviated as BAPPENAS (the National Development Planning Agency), an agency which is responsible for formulating national development planning in Indonesia, both annual, five-years, and long-term planning. BAPPENAS also has a responsibility to coordinate foreign development cooperation, both bilateral and multilateral. Kementerian PPN/BAPPENAS is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl Taman Suropati No.2 Jakarta 10310. As of July 2013, BAPPENAS has 846 dedicated staff.
