PT Pamapersada Nusantara - PAMA is one of the largest mining contractors firm in Indonesia. As of December 2013, PAMA maintains 45% of market shares in domestic mining industry. PAMA is a directly-owned subsidiary company of major heavy equipment distributor in Indonesia PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) and member of Astra Heavy Equipment Mining and Energy Group (Astra Group). PAMA was first established as a rental division of UNTR in in 1974. PT Pamapersada Nusantara was launched in 1993 as a spin off results of rental division of UNTR. The operational performance of PT Pamapersada Nusantara in 2013 showed a good improvement. PAMA achieved total coal volume 105.1 million tons in 2013. This reflected an 11% increase from 94.4 million tons in 2012. This figures was stated by PT United Tractors Tbk in its 2013 Annual Report as cited by JobsCDC.com.
