PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Tengah - BPD Jateng or referred to as "Bank Jateng" is the regional development bank of Central Java Province. Bank Jateng is owned together by the Government of Central Java with all the Government of City / County in Central Java. As of December 2014, 62.03% of its shares are held by the Central Java Provincial Government, 31.79% by the Regency Governments of Central Java, and 6.17% by the City Governments of Central Java. Headquartered in Semarang, Bank Jateng runs its business through 1,085 networks, comprise of 1 head office, 1 sharia business unit, 30 branches, 112 sub-branches, 144 cash offices, 305 payment points, 131 sharia offices channeling, 317 self owned ATMs, and 35 mobile cash units.
Bank Jateng has recorded a good performance in 2014. According to Bank Jateng's Annual Report 2014 as cited by JobsCDC.com, Bank Jateng managed to record a total asset of Rp 35,487.91 billion at the end of 2014 or equal to an increase of around 15.61% compared to the previous year of Rp 30,695.21 billion. Total operating income continue to grow by 6.40% to Rp 2,421.01 billion from Rp 2,106.02 billion in 2013. Total net profit booked a 5.22% growth, reaching Rp 741.84 billion in 2014 from Rp 705.04 billion in 2014.
