Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional - LAPAN or the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space of Indonesia is the national space agency of Indonesia. LAPAN is an Indonesian non ministrial government institution that is involved in the field of aerospace, both in research and development, and utilization. Its core competencies include Space and Atmospheric Science, Remote Sensing, Aerospace Technology, and Aeronautic and Space Policy Studies. According to LAPAN's profile as cited by JobsCDC.com, LAPAN was founded in 1963 under the Presidential Decree No 236 of 1963 on Space agency. LAPAN is based in Jakarta and now has 14 working units throughout Indonesia, located in Jakarta, Rumpin Bogor, Rancabungur Bogor, Bandung, Pameungpeuk Garut, Tanjungsari Sumedang, Watukosek Pasuruan, Parepare South Sulawesi, Kotatabang Agam West Sumatera, Pontianak and Biak Papua. Since 2014, its Chairman is Thomas Djamaluddin. The Chairman of LAPAN is assisted by 3 deputies, consist of Deputy Space Technology Affairs, Deputy Space Science, Assesmen and Information Affairs, and Deputy Remote Sensing Affairs.

General Requirements
  • Male/Female, minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 30 years old on 31 March 2016.
  • Not located as civil servants (PNS) or members of the TNI / Police.
  • Physically and mentally healthy.
  • To be responsible.
  • Have a high energetically.
  • Have a high initiative.
  • Have a good communication skill. 
  • Dress modestly and neatly.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Able to work outside office hours.
  • Have a GPA score min 2.80 (scale 4.0).
  • College accreditation minimal B.
  • Mastering Microsoft Office application.
