PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk - Latinusa (IDX:NIKL) is a well established integrated tinplate manufacturing company in Indonesia, based in Cilegon Banten. Latinusa was formed in 1982 has strong reputation for more than 34 years in providing tinplate products in Indonesia. Its products include Coil, Sheet and Scroll. Latinusa is majority owned by Japan Consortium. At present, Japan Consortium is the majority shareholder at PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk, with 55% of ownership (35% by Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp, 10% by Mitsui & Co Ltd, 5% by Nippon Steel Sumikin Bussan and 5% by Metal One Corporation). The remaining 45% interest in Latinusa is owned by state-owned steel makers PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, 20.09%; PT Baruna Inti Lestari, 5.005%; and Public, 19.905%.
According to PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk Annual Report 2015 as cited by JobsCDC.com, Latinusa's total net sales was down 15.68% at US$137.36 million from US$162.91 million in 2014. Total comprehensive income in 2015 amounted to US$3.34 million as compated with loss US$7.38 million in the previous year.
