PT Toyota-Astra Motor - TAM or referred to as "Toyota-Astra Motor" is a major automotive company in Indonesia with core business as a sole agent of all Toyota and Lexus brands in Indonesia. TAM engaged in the field of distribution and import of Toyota brand vehicles in Indonesia. TAM is a multinational joint venture company between PT Astra International Tbk (Astra Group - Indonesia) and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC - Japan), respectively with share ownership of 51% and 49%. PT Toyota-Astra Motor was first established in 1971 and originally started as a sole agent of Toyota. Later in 2003, Astra Group and TMC reorganized Toyota’s business in Indonesia through 2 companies, namely PT Toyota-Astra Motor to focus on distribution and PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) to focus on manufacturing and export of Toyota brand vehicles. TMMIN is 95% owned by TMC and 5% by Astra Group.

Headquartered in Jakarta, Toyota-Astra Motor now supported by 5 main dealers. Its main dealers include PT Astra International Tbk - Toyota Sales Operation (Auto2000), PT New Ratna Motor (Nasmoco), PT Hasjrat Abadi, PT Agung Automall, and NV Hadji Kalla Trd Co. According tPT Astra International Tbk Annual Report 2014 as quoted by JobsCDC.com, Toyota sold 339,746 units of vehicles (including Lexus brand) in the full year of 2014. This reflected a 8% decreased from 434,869 units in 2013.

Tulip is an internship program for special students who are willing learn and work with TAM.

Requirements

• Undergraduate students in 6th or 8th semester, majoring in
• Economics, Business, Management
• Engineering (Industrial, Mechanial, etc).
• Have an outstanding academic record with minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00.
• Actively involved in organizational activities.
• Willing to take 3 month full-time internship (July - September 2016).
