Badan Narkotika Nasional Republik Indonesia - BNN RI is the National Narcotics Agency of Republic of Indonesia. BNN RI is non ministerial agency in Indonesia which was formed with main duties in the prevention, eradication abuse and illicit traffic in psychotropic substances, precursors, and other addictive ingredients except for the addictive ingredient of tobacco and alcohol. BNN RI was formed by the Government of Indonesia in 2002 under the Presidential Decree Number 17 of 2002. BNN RI is baded in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl MT Haryono No 11 Cawang, Jakarta Timur. BNN RI now has 33 representative offices (BNNP) and also supported by 100 local BNN units (BNN Kota/BNNK) throughout Indonesia. Since 8 September 2015, Police Commissioner General Budi Waseso was appointed as the Chief of BNN RI to replace Police Commissioner General Anang Iskandar.
