Kementerian Perhubungan Republik Indonesia - Kemenhub RI (more popularly called DEPHUB) is the Ministry of Transportation of Republic Indonesia. The Ministry of Transportation is the government ministry in Indonesia that hold responsibility on the governance and regulation of transport in Indonesia. The Ministry of Transportation was formerly known as the Departement of Transportation or Departemen Perhubungan/Dephub. The Ministry of Transportation is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at Jl Medan Merdeka Barat No 8 Jakarta. Since July 2016, Budi Karya Sumadi - CEO PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) - was appointed by the President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo as the Minister of Transportation in the Working Cabinet (Kabinet Kerja), replacing Ignasius Jonan. The Ministry of Transportation has 4 Directorate Generals (DG), namely DG Land Transportation, DG Marine Transportation, DG Civil Aviation, and DG Railways.
