Bank Indonesia - BI is the central bank of the Republic of Indonesia. Bank Indonesia is an independent state-agency in Indonesia with main objective to achieve and to maintain the stability of the Indonesian currency Rupiah (IDR/Rp). Bank Indonesia was formed by the Government of Indonesia on 1 July 1953 as a nationalization results of a Dutch bank dating from colonial time named De Javasche Bank (The Java Bank). Based in Jakarta, Bank Indonesia now has 37 domestic branch offices spread across Indonesia and 4 overseas representative offices in Tokyo Japan, Singapore, London UK, and New York USA. BI's head office is registered at Jl MH Thamrin No 2, Jakarta 10350.

The Governor and senior deputy governor of BI are nominated and appointed by the President of Republic of Indonesia with approval from the People's Representative Council (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat/DPR). Perry Warjiyo is the current governor of Bank Indonesia. He was sworn by president Joko "Jokowi" Widodo as the Governor of Bank Indonesia on 24 May 2018 for a five year term (2018-2023). The last governor of Bank Indonesia before Perry Warjiyo was Agus Martowardojo who completed his five-year term of office in May 2018.

Requirements

• Universitas Indonesia students (S1 / S2) who have completed their studies in 2017-2018.
• Derived from the Department of Economics Development Studies, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics and S2 Finance.
• Minimum GPA of 3.25 (scale 4.00).
• Maximum age of 24 years old (S1) or 26 years old (S2).
• Minimum TOEFL score of 525 or IELTS 6.00.
• Preferably actively involved in campus organization activities.
• Preferably have received recognition and award on achievement acquired (academic or non academic).
• Do not have parents, spouses, or siblings working at Bank Indonesia.
• Willing to be placed in all over Indonesia.
