PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) - Pelindo I Group is a foremost state-owned port management services company, headquartered in Medan North Sumatera. Pelindo I Group operates primarily as a port operator in the western part of Indonesia which covers 4 provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatera, Riau and Riau Islands. Pelindo I Group is a non listed state-owned company and is fully owned (100%) by the Government which represented by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE). As of December 2016, Pelindo I Group has 16 port branch offices, 1 representative office, 11 port areas and 1 working unit. Pelindo I Group also supported by 3 subsidiaries, 2 joint control entity companies, and 1 associated company, namely PT Prima Indonesia Logistik (99% owned by Pelindo I), PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (90%), PT Prima Husada Cipta Medan (99%), PT Prima Terminal Petikemas (70%), PT Prima Multi Terminal (55%), and PT Terminal Petikemas Indonesia (25%).

In term of financial performance, Pelindo I Group succeeded in posting positive financial performance in 2016. According to information found in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Annual Report 2015 as cited by JobsCDC.com, Pelindo I Group successfully recorded a total revenue of Rp2,408.90 billion in 2016. This number is up 2.91% from Rp2,340.72 billion in 2015. Total current year profit in 2016 amounted to Rp427.30 billion, booked a 1.54% growth from Rp 534.89 billlion in 2014.

Requirements

• Male, Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
• Minimum age 30 years and maximum 39 years as of 1 December 2018.
• Possess a Seafarer's Expertise Certificate, minimum ANT-III (preferably ANT II and I) and expertise certificate STCW 1978 amendment 2010.
• Have a minimum of 3 years sailing experience as a Decker / Skipper with a minimum ship size of GT 1000.
• Minimum height of 160 cm.
• Physically and mentally healthy, not tattooed and drug free.
• Not color blind, not wearing glasses / optic lens, and not having eye defects.
• Able to speak English (active).
• Willing to be placed in all PT Pelindo I work areas, take part in Pandu training program, and undergo official ties.
